If the element operates intermittently we recommend replacing both the element and it's receptacle.

Glide,drawer, front

For the rear drawer glide, order part 496.

Range/stove surface element (6-inch). If the surface element won't heat, either the surface element or the surface element switch may be defective. To determine if the surface element is defective, use a multimeter to test it for continuity.

If the heating element operates intermittently, the element receptacle may be defective.

Drawer glide, rear

The front glide may also need to be replaced.

Terminal block for main power supply or cord

Range/stove surface element control switch repair kit. Compatible with a variety of models. The surface element switch sends voltage to the surface element coil. If the surface element is not heating, first test the surface element. If the element is not defective, the switch is likely at fault.
